Media: Kaos

A line appears, the order wanes, the family falls, and Kaos reigns.

I’m a sucker for the off-beat and unique storyline, but I mostly loved Kaos for the aesthetic. To me, it has a 1980s vibe to it. Zeus dressed in 1980s style, Adidas tracksuits, and used outdated old telephone/intercom systems. Zeus actually tried calling his children and leaving messages on answering machines, which were hysterical!

I freaking loved this show!

I loved Kaos’ quirky, dark comedy storyline. Jeff Goldblum crushed the role of Zeus, the completely self-absorbed and paranoid king of the gods.
👏 Bravo, Jeff Goldblum, bravo!

I also loved the way the overall mood of the scene changes to bland and gritty when the characters are in the underworld with Hades, Persephone, Medusa, and other beloved characters stuck in limbo.

I was sad to read that there will not be a second season. 😭
Not cool, Netflix! Not cool at all!

* Another series that I loved for the aesthetics was A Discovery of Witches (season one).
The wardrobe and background scenes used lots of blues and rusty oranges. It was beautifully done! I highly recommend checking it out if you are like me and love and appreciate beautiful, subtle, and creative aesthetics!
